WELCOME TO THE 2010-2011
CB WEST ICE HOCKEY PROGRAM
CB West will be fielding high school teams at
the Varsity AA and Junior Varsity levels. We
will also be sponsoring the Lenape/Tohickon
Bucks middle school program for CB West-bound
students who attend Lenape or Tohickon Middle
School or who are in 5th or 6th grade at one of
our feeder elementary schools. All teams will
be competing in the SHSHL. The Varsity team is
for student-athletes attending CB West HS and is
a competitive program for experienced players in
9th-12th grades. The team practices on-ice
every Monday afternoon from 3:30pm - 5:00pm and
every Wednesday; either off-ice after
school (video or in the gym) from 2:30pm -
3:30pm or on-ice Wednesday mornings
before school from 5:30am - 6:30am. All high
school players must meet the grade and
attendance standards set forth in the CB
Student-Athlete Code of Conduct to be
eligible to play.
The Junior Varsity team is developmental and
designed for players in grades 8th-12th. The
Middle School program is also developmental and
is for student-athletes in grades 5th-8th who
want to play when they reach the high school.
We welcome players of all skill and experience
levels, including, new players. As
developmental programs, all players on the JV &
MS teams get comparable playing time. Both the
JV and MS teams practice every Monday from
5:10pm - 6:10pm.
The cost for Varsity is approx. $1,300; JV is
approx. $1,100; and MS is approx. $1,000. Fees
can be paid over several months' time. All
teams practice at Hafield Ice. All players must
provide proof of 2010-2011 USA Hockey
registration prior to taking the ice. You must
register on-line by going to
http://www.usahockeyregistration.com/ and
bring your registration confirmation number with
you. Any player with questions should contact

WELCOME TO COACH
DiSAMMARTINO
We are
pleased to welcome Coach Rich
DiSammartino to our program this
season. Coach D is our new middle
school head coach and will also be
serving as our goaltending instructor.
Before coming to the Lenape/Tohickon
Bucks, Coach D was the varsity head
coach at Wissahickon High School where
he coached his teams to multiple league
championship games and Flyers' Cup
appearances. Coach D is looking forward
to working with our younger players.
We're fortunate to have Coach D with us
and we look forward to a fun and
rewarding season with him aboard.
